Why We Exist

"Felon friendly apartments" is the phrase people type into Google when every application has come back denied. We use that search term because it is how renters find us. But a conviction from your past does not define your housing options today.

Listing sites do not filter by criminal-background policy. A renter with a twelve-year-old nonviolent felony sees the same search results as someone with a clean record. Application fees are non-refundable. Renters with felony records routinely spend $200-$500 or more applying blind before finding a property that will even review the application.

The information renters need — which management companies auto-decline, which run genuine [case-by-case review](/guide/auto-decline-vs-case-by-case-review/), which weigh offense type versus conviction age — does not appear on any listing platform. We tell renters before they apply. That is the entire service.

How We Are Paid

Apartment communities pay us a referral fee from their marketing budget. Your rent is identical whether you use us or walk in off the street. We do not mark up rent. We do not charge renters anything. Application fees are rebated on approval and lease signing.
