Felon Friendly Apartments (the "Service") is a Texas real estate locating service operated by TREC-licensed real estate agents (TREC License #679806), brokered under Spirit Real Estate Group, LLC (Broker License #562021). This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we do not share it.

Information we collect

When you use our intake form, email us, or text us, we may collect:

• Contact details: name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method.
• Screening-relevant information: offense type, approximate conviction date, disposition (convicted, deferred, dismissed, etc.), sentence-completion status, single or multiple offenses, whether a case is pending, and whether an expungement or non-disclosure order applies.
• Housing needs: target metro, move-in timeline, rent budget, number of bedrooms, and any parole or probation deadlines.

We do not collect the story behind any case, and we do not ask about anything that is not screening-relevant.

How we use it

We use the information you provide only to:

• Pre-screen your specific record against Texas apartment property policies.
• Send you a shortlist of properties we believe will review your record.
• Communicate with you about your search via your preferred channel.
• Refer you to qualified Texas legal aid organizations if you ask about record clearing.

What we do not do with your information

• We do not sell your information to any third party.
• We do not run background checks. Screening is done by apartment communities using their own third-party vendors.
• We do not share your specific criminal history with anyone other than the specific properties you are being pre-screened against, and only to the extent needed to check policy fit.
• We do not publish testimonials, case studies, or any client detail without explicit consent.

Third-party services we use

Our website may use standard analytics tools to measure how visitors use the site (page views, referring source). These tools do not receive any of the screening-relevant information you provide to us in intake. Our contact form is processed through a secure lead-capture service.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• Show you the information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your record from our system.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect the information you send us. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not retain more information than we need and we do not share what we do retain outside the scope described here.

Children

The Service is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Not legal advice

Nothing on this Service is legal advice. Our licensed real estate team is not a substitute for a Texas attorney or legal-aid organization on any question of record clearing, expungement, non-disclosure, fair-housing rights, or landlord-tenant law. For record-clearing questions we refer to Clean Slate Texas, Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, Lone Star Legal Aid, and Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised policy.
